Natalia Petrova

Natalia Petrova is working in illustration and design of books for children. She graduated from Children’s Art School No. 1 named after V. Serov, and The Moscow State University of Printing named after Ivan Fiodorov.

She teaches in Fine Arts Children’s Studio of The State Museum of Fine Arts named after A.S.Pushkin (“Museyon” Children’s Centre, Moscow), delivers workshops for children. Natalia participates in Russian and international exhibitions and book fairs. She is member of The Artists Community “Magic Saw”, and of “Book Graphics” Section of The Moscow Artists Union. She is working for “Samokat” Publishing House. Natalia is designer and developer of “Magic Saw” website.

In 2007, Natalia received a Certificate of Merit of the contest “Book Art. Traditions and Lookout” held jointly by Association of Book Publishers of Russia and The Moscow State University of Printing, and with involvement of the leading publishing and printing houses of Russia, creative professional organizations and unions, in the nomination “Children’s Book” for the book “Turnip” collectively with other picture books of “Samokat” Publishing House.
